Trussardi 1911 Camouflage Belt

I need this Trussardi 1911 Camouflage belt (approx. SGD$450) on my waist. Like now! I love the camouflage print, versatile and right on trend. I need. I want... much better looking than Louis Vuitton's Monogramouflage version. It's 'Milan Vukmirovic' chic!

My MANy Bags News #255

Below: Ryan Reynolds is the new hunky spokesperson for Boss Bottled Night fragrance... Major nose bleed...

Below: Ryan is a Boss suit...nose bleed time...LOVE!

Below: Ryan Reynolds is going to appear in spandex as Green Lantern on the big screen! Love his look for the comic book superhero:-P

Below: Watch Ryan Reynolds in the new Boss Bottled Night TV commercial...

Ryan Reynolds: The New 'Boss Bottled' Fragrance Hunk!

I first saw Ryan Reynolds in the TV series '2 guys, a girl and a pizza place'. I wasn't wowed or considered him a hunk or superstar. Fast forward years later, the Canadian star got older, got muscled, got more masculine appeal and is now in hot pursuit for fan girls and fan boys alike. I love him in The Proposal (which I envied Sandra Bullock for lip-locking him!), and highly anticipating his debut as the Green Lantern in another upcoming comic book turned movie role. Don't you love guys who wear spandex and has a powerful 'jewellery' that saves the world?

Nuff' said, Ryan Reynolds also joins the hunks galore (the likes of Alex Lundqvist, Gabriel Aubry and Marius Hordijk) of previous Boss Bottled fragrance spokesperson (Watch the 3 hunks in action here), starring in the ad campaign of the new 'Boss Bottled Night'. Amazing apartment, impeccably groomed and styled Ryan... who can resist the charm of such persuasive advertising? I want a bottle now. Except I would have love to see Ryan doing the signature 'out of the shower' scene, half naked like his predecessors. Awww... what a disappointment:-p He should be allowed to flaunt his abs.

Nonetheless, Ryan rules!

My Shoe Collection #48

Below: Leopard trend, here I come... thanks to Lanvin! Such elegant packaging too:-P Like a gift box...

Below: I love Lanvin's Leopard Print Leather Trainers, those bronze leather trim, brown suede captoe and grosgrain ribbon shoe laces simply looked fab!

Below: Not your typical leopard print, this Lanvin shoe has a stylised, painted smudged interpretation of leopard spots:-)

Below: Complimentary colour tone that gives the shoe safari chic:-) and great for mixing and matching any wardrobe:)

Below: If you do not like the grosgrain ribbon, then Lanvin has thoughtfully include white laces as well. 2 looks in one shoe:-)

Below: I debut my shoe at the recent Mulberry Fall Winter 2010 collection launch party at Sentosa:-) Works great with cropped pants...

Lanvin Leopard Print Leather Trainers

Leopard prints seems to be flooding the fashion scene. Some find it over the top, some simply adore it. For me, I love it and would adopt it sparingly. It is a wonderful pattern to wear, definitely eye catching while adding an exotic charm. Since leopard prints are going to recur to even Spring Summer 2011 and beyond, I want to buy into the trend!

What better way for guys to get some animal prints in their wardrobe than thru shoes:-) I found this pair of Lanvin Leopard Print Leather Trainers in their boutique at Hilton Hotel, Singapore. Though made for the fairer gender, these shoes have a neutral design and colour tone that works for guys as well. The leopard print is also stylised as a smudgy background, hence it is less flamboyant than the usual leopard patterns. I prefer the thinner sole of the women's version which makes the shoe less chunky. The grosgrain ribbon as shoe laces also adds to the charm and uniqueness of the design. Very Lanvin without having to shout with huge branding:-)

I debut the shoes during Wed night's Mulberry event at Sentosa. Works great with dropped pants and shorts. A chic pair of shoes that is going to survive trends for many years to come:-)

Alexander McQueen Antique Brass Skull-embellished Bangle

Friday shopping lust. Alexander Mcqueen Antique Brass Skull-embellished Bangle is here to coerce me. I love the moulding of the skulls onto the bracelet with the same brass material. It looked like an ancient artifact, like it belong to a forbidden cult. Quite morbid, but oh so chic:-)

Net-a-porter sells the bangle for £227.74 (without VAT). Hmmm... tempting.

Mulberry Fall Winter 2010 Collection Launch Party At Tanjong Beach Club!

As many of you have known, Tanjong Beach Club in Sentosa, Singapore was packed last night with fashionistas and fashionistos alike for Mulberry's Fall Winter 2010 Collection launch party with Alexa Chung. Having the privilege of being invited, I indulge myself in a super fun night of glitter, leopard, puppies, big hairdos, gorgeous Mulberrys bags, delicious lemon tarts and lots of booze, all under the mesmerising sounds of Alexa Chung's DJing:-) What more can one ask for!

The pool was the runway, the beach was the dance floor and Alexa Chung was the darling of the evening. She was overwhelmed with so many fans asking for photos. Me included. I felt bad for her having to pose endlessly for her fans. But Ms Alexa is such a sweet darling, she obliged as best as she can. So that made me support her even more now! She had the most flawless skin and so photogenic. Every photo I capture of her, she looked fabulous!

Mulberry fans are also treated to a fun fashion show, with models in big Briggett Bardot hairdos, some even walking a cute puppy modelling the brands clothing and accessories for both men and beast:-P Very cute... I had a 'wicked' thought and wanted to 'steal' one of the those puppies away....oops.

I also met up with fellow blogger friends, including Bagaholicboy, Ms Glitzy, Fash-eccentric, Story Of A Dot, Poise Polish. We had lots of fun! Oh, not to mention the goodie bag which has cute contents, including Vitamin C effervescent tablets and a heart shape Mulberry Key ring. Love! Even had a 'blogger shoe unite' moment (Guess who's who:-P)... one for all, all for one in the name of fashion parties!

Thank you Mulberry and Club 21 for the lovely evening.

3.1 Phillip Lim Fall Winter 2010 Menswear Debuts at Club 21 Mens, Singapore!

Always been a fan of 3.1 Phillip Lim since I first lusted over his collaboration sandals with Birkenstock 2 years back. I appreciate his refined sense of style, often heavily injected with workwear or 'studious' references. Nerdy while quirky and with unexpected details that up the hip factor. Wearing Phillip Lim definitely makes you more intellectually chic than dull.

For Fall Winter 2010, Phillip Lim fans get gorgeous block checks mohair overcoat (feels so comfortable and warm as if you are wrapped in a blanket:-P), 'SWAT team bulletproof' style vests (time to toughen up), tiger stripe cardigans/poncho and jumpers (animal prints are huge this fall season), matched with sweat pants and cropped tailored trousers (with lace-up or elastic details at the legs!). College chic is evident in the collection, as does military and biker styles.

A collection that explores masculine dressing in a refined, albeit slightly rebellious and unconventional way. How could you not fall in love...

Good news to Singapore fans, you can now buy 3.1 Phillip Lim from Club 21 mens at Four Seasons Hotel (Tel: 6732 4531). New labels are constantly being added to my favourite SG fashion retailer and I already anticipated Phillip Lim to make it to our retail shores one day. Now my wish has come true:-)

International fans can also get their dose of 3.1 Phillip Lim from www.my-wardobe.com.
