Besides Céline who will be offering fox tail bag charms, Isabel Marant with her fur craze Navajo collection has her own version as well. Looking fab and this gives us more options! But I am sticking with Céline's (Priced at an attainable SGD420):-P Need those fox tails! (And I will not be stoned by PETA for wanting these... since they are faux rather than the real thing:-P)

Below: Jil Sander has done it yet again... charming all fans with gorgeous bags in the brightest hues and even flower prints for Fall Winter 2011... Love the new collection... what about you?

Below: These bags remind me of Cambridge Leather Satchels... I am into neon yellow colour now!

Below: Amazing colour blocking clutches...

Below: Pony hair, python skin... luxurious materials for Jil Sander's Fall Winter 2011 acessories collection...

Below: Interesting wedge boots to make gorgeous women even taller...:-P

Jil Sander Fall Winter 2011 Womens Bags, Shoes And Accessories

Colour blocking, flower prints and the brightest hues made Jil Sander the top trend maker for Spring Summer 2011. It seems the obsession with colours and interplay of natural inspired prints continues once again through to Fall Winter 2011.

Expect lots of colour blocking style bags, clutches and even shoes to colour up your winter wardrobes. The strong minimalist lines and aesthetics of Jil Sander is no longer confined to black, greys and whites. I love Raf Simon's bold exploration of colours (Orange, rouge and even noen yellow) for the otherwise very architectural and monochrome brand. The injection of flowery prints, but done with a more wintery feeling is welcoming to liven dull winter weather any day.

The popular Market bags also make a return, this time embellished with front pockets, exposed stiching or crafted from black flower print fabrics. Luxurious red python skins are also seen in gorgeous structured totes, while pony hair paneled on shoulder satchels. Materials are as varied as the colours, while retaining a strong sense of Jil Sander's modernity. Love them all!

Take your picks already... Jil Sander keeps getting better and better each season. It's the brand to watch out for again this coming Fall Winter 2011!

My Shopping Conquest #122

Below: The closest I will probably come to getting a 'tattoo'...:-P Love my new Louis Vuitton x Scott Campbell Spring Summer 2011 étole tattoo bleu. 'Chinese Mafia' LV style?

Below: One of the key pieces in LV's Spring Summer 2011 mens collection... the cotton stole is fabulous under blazers and sweaters!

Louis Vuitton x Scott Campbell Spring Summer 2011 Mens étole Tattoo Bleu

Louis Vuitton is the king of collaborations. You have to applaud Marc Jacobs for his unusually acute sense of successful collaborative projects with famous artists. From Murakami to Richard Prince, Rei Kawakubo and now for Spring Summer 2011... celebrity tattoo artist Scott Campbell. I am usually not a fan of tattoos. I can tolerate seeing them in small amounts on other people (gives them a cool edge I must say, when done right), but never on myself. I will just get tired of the design very soon and regret it for life:-(

But it was love at first sight for this Louis Vuitton x Scott Campbell Spring Summer 2011 Mens étole Tattoo Bleu after I first saw Bagaholicboy flaunt his on twitter. I immediately got smitten by Scott's highly original style! His work for LV is street vs. fine art vs. fashion... all done with lots of personality and attitude. What's more, the oriental theme motif is what I deemed a contemporary take on chinese mafia style, 'bad boy' cool anyone?:-P

I told myself I must track one down. The LV gods heard my wishes and and I managed to find the seasonal-release cotton stole at Ngee Ann City's LV store. Only 2 pieces were available... of course one came home with me. I grabbed at the chance to own this fashion piece cum collectible art:-) (My friend said Scott Campbell is going to get even more famous:-) So this might be a highly sought after collectible in the future.)

Below: Oriental dragons and tattoo style LV monogram flowers... a cool intepretation of contemporary body art... Scott Campbell's work is amazing!

The stole features subdued colours of pale blues, brown tones and greys with motifs of chinese dragons and a series of reinterpreted tattoo style LV monogram. I also love the extreme creasing which give the scarf a used and nonchalant look. Perfect to peek out from under your blazers and sweaters, definitely a conversational piece at events:-)

Below: Close-up look at the prints on the extreme creased stole... lovely colour combination!

Can't wait to head to cooler climates soon to put this stole to good use:-) It's been so long since LV has gotten my 'shopping adrenaline' pumping this much... Very pleased with my purchase and love Scott Campbell!

Below: Where art thou? My latest Hermès obsession... The Kelly Double Tour So Black! Love the all black hardware... a new level of sophistication and mystique:-)

Hermès Kelly Double Tour So Black

I know I am a late warmer for this elusive Hermès beauty. From the Fall Winter 201o collection of Avengers meets James Bond theme... So black is a limited edition series launched a season ago, which includes Kelly So Black Bag, Kelly So Black Pochette, Birkin So Black and Kelly So black belt (check out my facebook fanpage for pics of the full family).

Ever since my face to face encounter with an actual Hermès Kelly Double Tour So Black (Approx. SGD730) at Bangkok's international airport, I cannot seem to get it out of my mind. Unfortunately, the only piece I found was too small a size for me, so I had to pass it up. I am now madly in love with the all black hardware (even the dust bags are black!) which adds a new level of mystique and sophistication to this classic piece of Hermès accessory. Of course, the So Black series being highly limited makes it a challenging but satisfying hunt when you finally landed yourself one. I am on the prowl now... going to mobilise all the shopping scouts I can find to get my very own exclusive piece.

Meanwhile I shall keep admiring the beauty of this latest Hermès obsession from the pic above...

Below: Frivolous expensive wants for this Sunday! Love these Louis Vuitton 'summertime fun'
Ailleur Key Holders:-) How cute...

Weekend Things To Break Your Bank: Louis Vuitton Ailleur Key Holders

In this edition of frivolous material wants for the weekend, I am turning my attention to cute little expensive things that might bring a smile or two for Sunday.

While walking past Louis Vuitton at Ngee Ann City yesterday, I was duly charmed by these cute little Louis Vuitton Ailleur Key Holders displaying playfully inside the store windows. The adorable multi-coloured motifs of summertime fun, from palm tree, beach hut to parrot, immediately resonates with me. Beach vacation here I come! I am loving the tropical feeling that these vivid coloured key holders evoked. Perfect for decorating any bag, breathing island/beach time chic to your beloved arm candies.

Which one do you like best? I am in a love at first sight with the Ailleur City Key Holder. Somehow the greens and palm trees with an orange monogram flower combination is cheerful and super cute. I also like the mix of resin and gold metal materials which combines mundane and luxury for a quirky appeal to the key holders.

Retails for USD330. Yes, I did mention outfront that these are expensive indulgences for the weekend:-P

I am going back to LV to check them out in person today!

Below: Boys are 'licensed' for the furry tails+clutch look for Fall Winter 2011... Costume National's Fall Winter 2011 Mens Collection affirms it!

Below: First spotted on Céline's Prefall 2011 collection, the furry tail on clutch look was love at first sight. Now I want to adopt the look even more!

Furry Tail Accessory On Clutches: Costume National Fall Winter 2011 Mens Collection

After seeing Céline's Prefall 2011 collection, featuring lots of furry tail accessory attached to clutches... I immediately dive into the look. I am temporarily using my Gucci Raccoon Tail as a stand-in. I want a bigger and longer one:-) And come Fall 2011, I am definitely making them a must buy. But is the look too feminine? Need affirmation for the boys to adopt the look? Look no further, Italian brand, Costume National's Fall Winter 2011 Mens Collection features a look with exactly the same styling. Needless to say, this just made me want the 'accessory+clutch' look even more. Boys are 'licensed' for the look now:-P

Louboutin Mens Spacer Flat

New Christian Louboutin mens shoes for all you 'red sole' fans! It seems Mr Louboutin is unrelenting in easing up our wallets. Here's a new design... taller, tougher to coerce more of your $$$! Introducing the Christian Louboutin Spacer Flat... at first glance, the black version looked to me like a biker jacket made into a shoe. Love the buckled straps that cris-cross on the front, with a zipper side to add to tough appeal. Comes in black, white leather or beige suede and retails for US$1195. Which one will make it to your shoe closet?

Oh no...more temptations...

Below: Found these Prada S2011 Espadrilles in my size! So should I or should I not?

Prada Spring Summer 2011 Espadrilles Brogues: Should I or Should I not?

I finally spotted these in my size... (the mens version in tobacco brown colour!). But the question is, after seeing the thicker soles with a orange colour band on the sole of the women's version, do I still get the mens? That strip of orange colour makes the shoe pop even more... the thicker sole is also much more funky. However, sizing is an issue when getting the women's version... since it is cut narrow and the possibility of fitting into or getting one in my size is still questionable. So do I go for the men's version, readily available to me now (compromised on the much preferred Women's version) or try my luck for the version I truly love?

There's also a final worry that these shoes might become irrelevant after SS2011... too many people own and worn them. Not a good thing since these are pricey shoes!

Dilemma, dilemma... decisions, decisions:-)

(PS, both men and women's version are of the same price)

Below: Pierre Hardy Cube Pattern Clutch looking fab in this latest pic by Jak and Jil!

Pierre Hardy Cube Pattern Canvas Clutch Spotted!

This latest pic by Tommy Ton of Jak and Jil affirms my love for the Pierre Hardy Cube Pattern Canvas Clutch that I recently got. Apparently the clutch comes with a biege coloured leather trim (Mine's black) as well, fabulous combination with the cube pattern's Khaki undertones. I would not mind this version!

A nice statement piece that serves as a base for bright tone colours, such as the red and blue stripes on the pic.

Love!

Below: Prada is going 'Plaid' crazy this coming Fall Winter 2011... Plaids, tartans or checks are appearing on all manners of bags and small accessories...

Below: Who will purchase these oversized luggage bags from the Fall Winter 2011 runway?

Below: Prada is tapping on their Spring Summer 2011 Espadrilles Brogues' success again for Fall Winter 2011... these thick sole shoes are making a comeback next season, sans the jute rope trimmings... Will you still buy these without the espadrilles design detail?

Prada Fall Winter 2011 Mens Accessories

Prada Spring Summer 2011 Accessories collection
for both men and women was all about colours and stripes. For Fall Winter 2011, the attention is turned to the world of 'PLAIDS' (or tartans or checks as you deem fit:-P). We see these classic patterns printed on messenger bags, backpacks, duffels and totes to small accessories:-) The plaid patterns even managed to appear on Prada's signature saffiano leather for small accessories such as wallets and card cases. Are the boys ready for plaids? Céline Fall 2011 collection uses tartans as a pattern as well... so is this a trend for Fall Winter 2011 accessories?

Besides plaid patterns, there are also simple luggage bags (as seen on the runway) in fresh new fall colours of pale blue and burgundy browns. I wonder how will these oversize bags translate to actual market demand. So much for travelling light and convenient, they seemed really cumbersome and I presume heavy...

Now on to the shoes:-) which is always Prada's biggest strength. The success of Prada's Spring Summer 2011 Espadrilles Brogues sees this popular design make a comeback for Fall Winter 2011. But this time, the summer element of using jute rope trimmings (espadrilles style) has been removed and exposing the stripe detail sides on the soles. Colours are also adopting a more sombre tone, in deep burgundy and timeless black. Will you buy these fall winter versions? Sadly to say, I still like those from Spring Summer 2011, they are more fun and funky.

As for the other shoe designs, they are just mediocre. Suede ankle boots, moulded sole trainers, chunky sole loafers... nothing outstanding enough to beat the popularity of those infamous Espadrille Brogues.

Have Prada's new Fall Winter 2011 Accessories collection entice you enough to take your picks already (6 months ahead)? Or none for the taking? One thing's for sure, Prada Fall Winter 2011 Mens Accessories collection is definitely not going to enjoy the success of Spring Summer 2011 season... at least in my opinion. But I may be wrong.

Below: From geek to ethnic... love these t-shirts with graphic ethnic prints too (£14 each)

Weekend Things To 'Break' Your Bank: ASOS New Arrivals

Okay maybe these weekend temptations will not set your bank account into a deficit... so you can joyfully enjoy some online shopping with minimal guilt. These ASOS new arrivals are simply a delight while being very well priced.

I am already in love (and ordered) the Grey Navajo Print T-shirt which features 'hand-sketch' patterns on the yoke of the t-shirt. Love the position of the print which wraps around the neck and front, an unusual placement of t-shirt prints! Will be cool to pull off an ethnic look with cropped skinny pants:-) Love it.

And if you have some biceps and pecs to show off, grab that Vest With Ethnic Print on the front and solid black panel on the back, very graphic with a tribal twist:-) All these to set you back £14 each... you cannot complain.

My biggest love for this week has to be these ASOS Multi Coloured Leather Brogues in shades of tan and chocolate and black tones... lovely lovely panelling effect, it's an instant dandy hit in my books! Love the textured and smooth leather combination:-) The wooden sole is also endearing for a classic design, but done in a fun sartorial way. Brogues are huge this season, so this one is a must buy especially at only £45 (the price went up on website to £50!... Yikes)! (Just ordered the brogues as well! I forsee this to be a hit, just like the ASOS Anchor Buckle Belt (SOLD OUT)... Hurry before sizes run out:-p)

And if you need one more reason to indulge, ASOS ships FREE internationally:-)

(Click here for some weekend retail therapy)

Okay, I am off to make some mouse clicks and enjoy some shopping cart filling time... Happy weekends.

(One little trivia: ASOS = As Seen On Screen... in case you are wondering. ASOS started out as a shopping sight offering pieces that looked similar or was what celebrities wore.)

Below: Bally is slowly sending positive vibes to my bag radar... I love the new Rachele Leather Tote, modern and interesting while bearing a great price tag! Especially love the black and white version, very graphic chic!

Below: The nude and grey trim version is equally noteworthy! There is even a taller version which I spotted in Singapore's Bally store last weekend... love them both:-P

Bally Rachele Leather Tote

Call it Céline looking or even Prada Executive Tote's evil twin... one thing's for sure, I want Bally's new Spring Summer 2011 Rachele Leather Tote!

There are commendable details for this Bally bag by new creative directors, Graeme Fidler and Michael Herz. One most notable detail is the interesting panel effect on the body which allows for multi colour and contrasting materials. I love the extended rim of white or grey in a different material for added visual and tactile appeal. The way the handles are designed is also beautiful, riveted with black studs and a clean line of stitching for a modern touch. The colour ways is contemporary, utilising graphic black and white or complimentary nude and grey tones. Little touches like a detachable mini coin purse is endearing! Best of all, the price of just £649 wins hands down over any bag that has this level of design:-) I simply love the clean lines (suitable for guys too!) and size (41cm x 31cm x 17cm) of the Rachele Bag!

(If this shorter version is not to your liking, there is also a taller version, which was spotted over my shopping expedition last weekend at Singapore's Bally Store in Ngee Ann City. A different proportion for new possibilities and at a great price of SGD1795)

Below: More gorgeous Céline bags to drool over! Are you ready to plan which ones to get from Céline Fall 2011's collection? For me, I am Céline Cabas all the way!

Below: Interesting new bags for the upcoming new season too! From the wider format Céline luggage tote, the new
Luggage Phantom Square Bag in olive suede to the oddly shaped Trapeze Shoulder Bag to a tartan tweed version of the luggage tote, these new bags are hard to resist!

Céline Fall 2011 Bags

Time to prep your credit cards! Here's pics of the very promising Céline Fall 2011 bags... which one to pick, which one to lust over... which one will make it to your next season's shopping list?

For me, I have already set my sights on anything and everything Céline Leather Cabas! Hence, the Cabas Bi-colour in Tartan Tweed and Lambskin Midnight is a definite must have!:-P Absolutely appropriate for those winter moods with a modern take on plaid patterns, only Phoebe Philo can conceived. Truly a love at first sight! (The Tartan pattern also comes in a Luggage Tote format with Midnight coloured calfskin. I easily forsee those being snapped up in a heartbeat when they hit stores for Fall 2011:-P)

Besides the tartan version, I am also in love with the Bi-colour Cabas in Lambskin Royal Blue and Burgundy Brown. Such an amazing colour combination, adding rich tones for Fall Winter season without being overly brash. Fall 2011 also sees the introduction of gold stamp print (in the form of a reindeer) onto the usually minimalist cabas designs. A first but very welcoming. Don't you feel the reindeer pattern will make a great Christmas time bag? Festive chic anyone?

I can't wait for Fall 2011. Watch out for many more new updates and designs... from the very odd but appealing Trapeze Shoulder Bag, or a landscape version of the highly popular Luggage Tote, the Luggage Phantom Square Bag. Tassels included:-P Watch out Balenciaga!:-P

Below: Love those runway featured Fendi bags from Spring Summer 2011! The multi-coloured Silvana bags are a visual delight, elegant and colourful!

Below: Fendi's new 2Bag is practical and graphic in appeal with bold stripes and colours!

Below: Fendi's Peekaboo is a classic, timeless chic any day! Love those snakeskin linings and materials...

Fendi Spring Summer 2011 Womens Bags

I have been featuring a lot of the mens content lately on my blog... and I feel I have somehow left out my female readers. So here's a dedicated womens themed blog post for all those lovely ladies who supported me. Time to get you into a shopping mood! Be tempted by Fendi's gorgeous and colourful Spring Summer 2011 bags collection.

Out of the season's offerings, the most outstanding have to be these 3 series of bags which I am very impressed. Fendi used to be a perpetrator of ugly bags, pre-Peekaboo days. Thankfully they got better and better over the past 4 seasons. These are the designs I would snap up in a heartbeat if I am a gal.

1) The Fendi Silvana Bag is a sophisticated tote handle carry all that befits an equally stylish woman for day and night. Crafted with contrasting materials, some with exotic skins and textured leather of up to 3 different colours (perfect for colour crazed Spring Summer 2011), it is a stunning arm candy to build colours for your looks. You just cannot miss out on those gorgeous colours that add visual depth any style. The brass buckle design (on the handle) is also one of the best Fendi has come up with. Love the rounded and chunky feel branded with their 'F' insignia. Understated but not too obscure:-)

2) The next series of bag is my favourite of the lot... and I had wished they came in larger sizes. Fendi's 2Bag is an interesting slouchy shaped tote that uses the most beautiful colours and materials. Playing again on multi-panel designs, the 2Bag has a strong graphic appeal, especially those with striped canvas and leather materials, which are modern and fun at the same time. Nautical charm (breton stripes)? Colour blocking? 2 major key trends for SS2011 all embodied in one bag. Brilliant use of contrasting coloured key fob and handle colours which gives the 2Bag up to 5 colours at one go! Fendi's 2Bag is definitely indispensable for colour fans and one that is practical and yet stunning enough to take you from day to day.

3) Lastly, (of course) I have to give mention to Fendi's Peekaboo bags... Fendi's most successful creation to date for a iconic house design. This season, the highly chic and yet practical tote gets done up in exotic snakeskin, but in contrasting stripes with a matching pequin lining. Very graphic and almost harlequin-like. It's a statement piece for a true fashionista. Surprisingly, I also fancy the logo rope version with subtle weaving of the house Zucca Checks into the material, unique and clever way to do branding. However, I had wished they lined the bag in the any material other than the Zucca fabric. Zucca fabric on its own screams 'knock-offs':-(

So much to choose from. So many colours to get bewildered. Check out my facebook fan page for more pics of Fendi's Spring Summer 2011 bags collection. Some are thumbs up, while others are simply brash and best avoided. Love to hear your thoughts by commenting on my Facebook fanpage.

Below: Monday obsession... something to give Christian Louboutin's spikey creations a run for its money...
Love this 3.1 Phillip Lim Studded Wristlet!

Spikey Infatuations: 3.1 Phillip Lim Studded Wristlet

Christian Louboutin is the 'culprit' for getting every fashionista crazy about anything and everything studs. Bad boy/girl attitudes never looked this desirable until Christian Louboutin gifted the fashion world with his TDF Rollerball (Rollerboy for girls), Spiked Louis and Freddy Flats shoes. Now we are obsessed and cannot get enough of it.

Today I am ready to extend my love for spikes beyond those red soles. Finally a piece of accessory worthy of a match to those Louboutins. Presenting 3.1 Phillip Lim's super 'badass' but oh so dangerously cool Studded Wristlet! I love the idea of a small wallet that you can hang around your hands... with that spikey hand strap! It's similar to wearing a knuckle buster, tough and ready to kick some butt! Watch out pick pockets... meddle at your own risk:P

Below: Gorgeous when worn! Love the studded hand strap.. comes in black! (Pic from Burbailey)

Shane from Burbailey got himself a gorgeous all black leather version (Cool stuff! I want one too!), but Net-a-porter stocks a grey suede option which looks equally stunning.
3.1 Phillip Lim's Studded Wristlet measures 5 cm (D), 12.5 cm(H) and 10 cm (W). Retails for £264.09 (w/o VAT) here.

My Bag Collection #60

Below: I am an avid fan of clutch bags. This is one welcoming addition with 'Flower Power' to match! Love my new Jil Sander's Neon Flower Print Canvas Clutch Bag!
Below: Special ink has been used for printing that gives the floral patterns a brighter than usual appearance! Love the neon effects:-)
Jil Sander Neon Flower Print Canvas Clutch Bag

Flowery prints has always been shy away by men due to its association to feminity since eons ago. Women's fashion has always played with floral designs while mens kept to it's masculine graphic shapes and subdued colours. But for Spring Summer 2011, floral motifs is blooming all over for guys! Jil Sander, Yohji Yamamoto, D&G all embraced nature's best creation to the world for Spring Summer 2011. That said, flower prints may not always work on some guys. Even for me, where I embraced certain levels of experimentation with fashion, thinks it's a tad too overwhelming when worn as a top.

There are however other ways to wear floral prints without becoming a visual eyesore. I'd reckon having flower prints on accessories is the best way to tone things down and avoid an overdose of nature's beauty. Bags, shoes, belts.... something smaller to accent a plain outfit for maximum visual impact.

Below: I may love this flower print, but wearing it as a t-shirt may not work for me... would you dare to wear this?

I chanced upon this beautiful Jil Sander Neon Flower Print Canvas Clutch Bag at Club 21 Mens, Four Seasons Hotel a couple of weeks back. I will not wear the t-shirt (see below) done with the same floral print, but this clutch bag I would carry any day! The flower print also spots a neon coloured ink, churning out brighter than usual colours. Outstanding and interesting to make you pop any day. I love the size (32cm width x 21cm height. Great size for guys) and the soft leather trimmings, giving a luxurious touch to the otherwise all canvas clutch.

Comes in a silk material as well with bigger florals for women (£190). But I still prefer the stronger colours and smaller, denser flower patterns on this mens version.

Below: Fret not, the womens have their own version in silk material with pinkish tones and bigger florals... still lovely for the ladies!
Flower power for the boys and girls! Yay!
