The Material Boy #213

Lanvin Spring Summer 2009 Suede Strap Sandals & Pink Suede Hightop Trainers

Browns fashion
has put up new arrivals of Lanvin shoes on their website! And again, season after season, Lanvin do not disappoint. Although they keep to a recurring design for their trainers, the clever use of materials and colours is enough to refresh them and make them lust worthy all over again! Beyond that, the spring summer 2009 season also sees an amazing array of sandal options unexpected of the once very classic/stuffy brand. These casual offerings for sun baked city streets or fine grained sandy beaches is simply chic and functional for warmer weather.

As I mentioned before, PINK is the new black for menswear this spring summer season. Many designers are splashing the 'barbie owned' colour all over their menswear runway. Givenchy, Dior Homme, Louis Vuitton and now Lanvin! These Lanvin Pink Suede Hightop Trainers is not new in design, but definitely fresh on the colour palette. By mixing a combination of pastel pinks, dusty pinks and maroon, Lanvin has created one 'sweet' piece of eye candy. Love at first sight? You simply do not get too much pink shoe options when it comes to menswear. This is the chance to own one and be in high style too:-)

Next up is the much blogged about (on my blog:-P) Lanvin Suede Strappy Sandals. Almost non-existent in structured, featuring only thin straps, it however, looked fabulous when worn. Easy and cooling for the feet, this version in brown seems much better looking than the black one I previously featured.

Lastly, with UK pounds at an all time low, Browns Fashion is going to be one online store to head to for incredible deals. What's left now is to find the $$...Toto (Lottery), anyone?:-P

  2. I am so in love with the Lanvin sandals - but alas I am having an issue with the price of them. It got me wondering if I could find alternatives, and funny enough, I ran across this site: http://www.jerusalemdepot.com/default.aspx?tabid=157&view=productsbycategory&fid=8&cid=154

While not exact, the sandals sorta do have an "inspired by" look to them. What do you think?

  4. Kevin, you've got the Gucci sandal and it's better than the Lanvin suede. The suede will have your footprint on them within a week.
