(I had a wonderful SA track this keepall for me after I plan to return the Graffiti Neverfull Orange. I just do not like how the Neverfull looks on me. The handles were too short and I feel like I am clutching a basket. No doubt the lining is fabulous. But I do not want to look like an 'auntie':-P After some failed attempts tracking down a new keepall to exchange (I called the LV hotline, get some help from friends who knew SAs in LV), the pieces were either display piece or out of stock in every store in Singapore. I finally decided to make a last attempt and called my SA to see if she can help. The lovely SA was very helpful and friendly...she was not at all bothered by the inconvenience and she even try to find out why I do not like the Neverfull. In the end, she is convinced I am certain the Neverfull is not right for me and she called all the LV stores in Singapore and managed to track down a brand new piece for me at DFS Scottswalk (which was supposedly out of stock..strange?!?!?). She even help me to reserve it so I can exchange it the next day. I was so grateful. I head down to the DFS store the next day and that is how I end up with this gorgeous bag!:-) I bought Macarons for her on that weekend to show my appreciation for her help:-) It is wonderful to get great sales service! Way to go LV! )
welcome to the club Kevin. cheers to you and your blushing (lol) bride!!!
ReplyDeleteDUDE... you struck TOTO is it? ;-)
ReplyDeleteNo lah..if I strike toto..I probably go paris to buy the bags already. hahaha.
ReplyDeleteThis was paid for way before the arrival of the actual bag. and when I returned the neverfull bag, I can only get back store credit...so have to choose something from the store. I took the keepall then.:-) It's not a new purchase in a way.
And Mr Duck...yes, our Keepall triplets is ready to rock the world!
and btw, I never mentioned it was a 'she'.:-P
hehe
it always feels so wonderful receiving good service eh! and congratulations on your new addition! I am likely to be flying back to singapore soon and hopefully get my hands on a fuchsia graffiti neverfull! lol. but definitely a new bag is in order. will continue reading ur blog and bagaholic's to stay in touch w singapore bag scene!
ReplyDeletecheers, mayy
Hi Mayy,
ReplyDeleteWelcome home in advance! Are you out stationed overseas?
Hope you have a good journey back and can reward yourself with a fuchsia neverfull!:-)
Thanks for the support!
Happy sunday:-)
Kevin
Congrats Kevin on acquiring the highly coveted keepall! The family of three certainly look cheerful. Haha. Btw, that's an awesome SA! Otherwise, U would have to get the bag overseas, I reckon. :P
ReplyDeletecongrats! the keepall is amazingly light, great for everyday and travelling!
ReplyDeletewhat items do we now have in common? gucci sandals, this bag... anything else?
My SA AT LV in Amsterdam told me the sales of the graffiti line were disappointing. They sent back a lot of the stuff because in Paris there s a greater demand from asian tourists, most european customers didnt like the design.
ReplyDeleteThanks Niz! Yes, all credit goes to my SA. And Joe, my keepall is ready for a triplet outing with yours and Mr Duck's.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed how light the keepall is...perfect travelling bag.
And Vanja, to be honest, asians are the ones consuming LV monogram pieces like no tommorrow.:-) I like monogram pieces only if they are special:-) I bet Asian tourist in paris will buy every single graffiti piece they can find:-P
congrats!
ReplyDeleteyes this is sooo much better than the graffiti neverfull honestly, no offense, thank god u left the other for this.
Amen hallelujah amen!
ReplyDeleteWas away the whole weekend and didn't get the chance to see it until now...
Congrats Kevin! I love it!!!
I hate myself for saying this (I have never owned a single piece of monogram), but, begrudgingly, through gritted teeth, I like it. Really like it. Colour is fabulous, construction is clearly well thought-through and executed. I'd much rather have that bag than two pairs of the Gucci flower trousers.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, may that marriage be a long and fruitful one!
Thanks UKbagboy (Name?):-)
ReplyDeleteYes, I think the bag is of better functionality than the trousers. It is indeed very bright and loud...and you do not see the monogram very clearly:-) I seldom buy monogram bags...so unless it is special...then I will buy them.
and Mark, thanks! You must join in the keepall club as well!
Jon, indeed...I feel much more right with the keepall than neverfull. I feel like I am carrying a huge basket with neverfull, cos it is stiff. and handles are too short.
UKbagboy is my name, my parents had the incredible foresight to name me that.
ReplyDeleteHahaha...congrats for having parents with great foresight:-P
