Ad Campaigns And Catalogues #34
Loewe Fall Winter 2009 Ad Campaign
There is a trend now for designers to use celebrities and super models of 'past generations' to front their ad campaigns. Naomi, Claudia, Christy, Madonna are some familiar faces that have graced campaigns of luxury brands from Bally, Louis Vuitton to YSL. So for Fall Winter 2009, Loewe joins the rank of using familiar faces as Gisele Bundchen poses for the camera. Although Gisele is not that much of a 'past generation', I consider anyone earlier than Lily Donaldson and Natasha Poly to be not current:-) Timeline in fashion does move faster.
Rich warm colour tones, classic setting reminiscent of an old mansion adds to the flavour of rich heritage and luxury of the Loewe brand, but made contemporary with the styling and of course sexy Gisele (who is beckoning you to check out her beautifully shaved armpit:-P). Even the man's ad is attractive enough for you to want to cast a second look.

ReplyDeletehmm do u think its still possible to get the 1st bag kind of canvas print in white/beige print from Paris or Italy? At least 2seasons ago from now i think. Its sold during GSS and i didnt know until I saw someone carrying that print in hobo shape. Very nice but i went ard the boutiques all sold out because its like discount items and sold off. :(
I checked and Bicester n the one at Paris outlet dont carry Loewe too. Thanks
(ps sorry i leave a msg elsewhere too maybe asking similar thing but yr thread too popular i cannot rem where i posted mine. hehe now i will bkmark this page)
If it is 2 seasons ago and markdown for sale, chances are slim to find.
ReplyDeleteUnless you can find an outlet store for Loewe.
