No Excess Baggage...Men's Document Folio

The concept of man clutches may seem a tad hard to swallow for some guys, but document folios is the perfect solution for those fuss-free, minimal baggage days. The business like nature of document folios has now been refreshed by many luxury designers and are no longer strictly for use in the corporate boardroom. Dries Van Noten has been perpetuating the document folio look for men since Spring 2009. And Bottega Veneta's Fall Winter 2009 collection also send models walking down with these in various exotic skins. All these ideas probably help to inspire more guys to shed off those big man bags for something lighter and more portable.

So what's your take on document folios? Are they still considered man clutches? Or they are of a different league of their own...something more acceptable for guys? Will you be inspired to carry them like what these real guys above did during the recent fashion week events?

Anyhow, see above for my picks on some of the most gorgeous document folios that you can 'invite' into your wardrobe:-)

I think the thin document carrier is more of a fashion statement than a useful accessory to put your things in. I mean, how often would you carry papers only? True, you can stuff it but you would risk looking silly.

I wouldn't get one. Waste of money, in my opinion.

Peace. :-)

O man, those folios look so cool! I would get one coz they look great right next to a suit. Slim and trimmed down to basics.
