Flower Power For Menswear Spring Summer 2014

Below: Many designers are proposing floral prints for their SS2014 mens collection... I love Prada's rendition the most, especially on those quirky bags and sweaters:-) Flower power is invading next Summer!
Below: Dries Van Noten, Ami and Gucci are all embracing flower motifs for their SS2014 menswear...

Floral Prints For Spring Summer 2014 Menswear

Call it feminine or sissy all you want... the boys of Spring Summer 2014 wears flamboyant and brightly coloured floral prints. Yes, designers from Prada, Dries Van Noten, Ami, Gucci and even Givenchy (Pre-spring 2014) are all embracing the concept of florals on guys.

Loving Prada’s rendition of a ‘menacing paradise’ which sees Hawaiian inspired florals given new languid beauty in bright bursts of burgundys and blues. Translated on ready to wear to 'definite sell-out’ bags and luggage tags... I see another hit collection cashing in big bucks for the brand next year.

Dries Van Noten’s fearless but tasteful proposition of florals vs. masculinity is quite a visual treat too. Gold bullion embroidery juxtaposes with swirling floral patterns, in sometimes feminine fabrications challenges even the most daring fashion guys to embrace their softer side.

Ami took the flower prints in a tropical paradise and weave in an endearing story of guys on the move at airports. Be it holiday makers or business executives, their worlds meet and greet, bringing a sense of familiarity to the clothes, relatable to guys who travels. Tropical flower prints simply beckons for holidays:-)

Gucci also sent a series of heavily decorated floral looks down their runway... exemplifying Italian charm and a luxurious athletic direction, thoughtfully soften with flower motifs.

Next year will be a visually exciting fashion summer. Get ready for the invasion of flower power!
