Zara Fall Winter 2009 Menswear Lookbook

More Zara Fall Winter 2009 mens looks. Love the denim shirt, boots and bowtie look. I even like the slouchy drop crotch sweat pants. It feels so comfortable, as if you just woke up of bed. Lots of references to Burberry Prorsum's Fall Winter 2009 collection, from knitted cummerbunds, portrait print T-shirts to snood to drop crotch pants. Even D&G is not spared... Napoleon style military jackets looking cool as well.

One merit is that at least Zara does a good 'inspired-copied' version and at affordable pricing.

Your choice...real deal or 'inspired versions' by Zara?

LOL wanted to comment on all those "sources", then read your description XD The denim look was my fav too. I would wear it without the bowtie and with a chunky scarf, though. But Singapore is too warm for chunky scarfs, huh ;)

To your answer your question: The copy always pales before the original!
Last year I tried on some Zara combat boots. Really cheap leather, if at all and not comfortable on my foot at all. I´d rather buy one pair of shoes that look good and will always look good than on some cheap crap that falls apart.

...and I´m somewhat of a brand whore XD

I like the drop crotch sweat pants, too. Passing trends don't merit high prices. They'll be chic for dog walking. LOL.

Once again, Zara makes a beautiful collection for this autumn. The military jacket is really awsome !!!
I think I would choice the 'inspired versions'...

What's a cummerbund for, anyway?

Hey Nico,

I think it's something guys wear with tux traditionally...

but these days, we see less of it.

And Michael St. James, I saw a Zara sales man today wearing a pair of drop crotch checks pants...it looked pretty decent too!
