My Shopping Conquest #06

D&G Oval Buckle Leather Belt in Cognac Colour

After ranting countless times and racking my brains to make a decision whether to buy or not buy the D&G gladiator sandals, I finally found a compromise for myself in the form of a belt from the same leather range. This is suffice to keep me satisfied while I pass off the thought of buying the super expensive sandals. The belt is cool looking. Although meant for women, the simple buckle design works for a guy as well. This is not the first time I bought women's belt. The difference is in the direction they loop on the waist. Girls from the other direction instead of right to left for guys. However, the strategic placement of the D&G logo sideways on the oval buckle means you can wear it any direction without giving away the gender usage. Crafted in a rich cognac brown colour also helps to make the belt unisex. Love the shiny gold buckle and loop open studs. A bit of bling that goes great with blue jeans. Loud but restrained. Best of all, the price is affordable and not exorbitant like the gladiator sandals. I can now rest my shopping mind and wait for my next shopping spree during the spring summer sales!

Retail price: SGD$269. Where to buy: D&G Boutique at Forum, The Shopping Mall

hey nice belt by the way. But not sure how to pair it though. I'm a stick in the mud when it comes to belt and shoes. Their colors must match.

well, you can wear it with brown sandals and shoes or pair it with white sneakers, coloured sneakers with some browns in them. Belt and shoes dun always have to match. Just as long as on your outfit, you can find some harmonious tones, you will look fine!:-)

I just realised I am a belt-a-holic as well. hahahah. I have to many belts to account for.

GET the sandals. Elles sont magnifiques!!! Not super comfortable but they are so super hot!!! I get compliment everywhere I go, and they catch so much attention when they sparkle as the light hits them. Return the belt and get the sandals.

I would like to add that I didn't realize that you are referring to the female version of sandals. I was talking about these:http://men.style.com/slideshows/mens/fashionshows/S2008MEN/DGMEN/RUNWAY/00240m.jpg

I am sorry that I can find a close up photo of the sandals, I will take a photo of mine and show them to you tomorrow. They are absolutely stunning. :)

Ahah, the mens version of the sandals:-) I got those already. Check my the 'my shoe collection #12'. My version is not the exactly runway style with many metal studs and plates. Mine is more restrained in a way. Hahaha/ yeah, I am referring to the ladies sandals. I see you are also a fashion and shoe fan. welcome to my blog!

Yeah, just finish combing through your entire site, and I found that entry and found out that I such a fool. Bravo on the site... you make me very envious and addicted at the same time (it's 5.30am here and I have class at 9 and yes, I've not gone to bed). Churn out more of those hot entries (a.k.a. burn your card, lol) as you've got a new fan!
