The Material Boy #311

Fendi Peekaboo Bag With Embroidered Zucca Pattern And Snakeskin Triming

On some days you need a rugged bag, on other occassions you need an elegant bag. That is how this exquisite Fendi Peekaboo Bag With Embroidered Zucca Pattern And Snakeskin Triming could come into play. I walked past the Fendi Boutique at Ngee Ann City and was treated to a up close and personal view with this beauty. I cannot help but be in awe of the intricate workmanship involved to create this bag. The Fendi zucca pattern is quite distasteful in my books, but once given a artisanal quality with intricate embroidery (beaded) effect, I can live with the pattern. The turn lock of the bag has also been striped of the Fendi logo, and in place a emerald 'gemstone' for added luxury feel. Python skin are used as trimmings throughout the bag and the complimentary colours of black and brown is simply tasteful and timeless.

Love it. But it seems my wallet do not.

Darn.

If I were Fendi, I would drop the logo from the turnlock on all of them and just make a discrete engraving like Hermes. That turn lock is the one thing I do not like about this bag.

Nice version. You have such a good eye.

is the FF logo beaded lining all the way down to the bottom of the bag? or only on the top? is it beaded on both side? I loveyour blog ! keep up the great work!
