The Material Boy #315

Mulberry Walter Briefcase With Shoulder Strap

I have a thing for school boy bags...perhaps it brings a sense of studious geek chic which is on trend now, and a sense of sweet of memories from those nostalgic carefree youthful years (not that I am so old now:-P) But I enjoy those time as a younger person where you think you can own the world.

Now as you grow older, your 'school boy' bag needs to serve more purpose than carrying your books around. They need to fit into your working lifestyle, be able to house your indispensible modern gadget, the laptop and yet look in style at the same time. A tall order? Don't think so! If Proenza Schouler's PS1 bag seem too extravagant (might not hold up to the weight of a laptop too), then Mulberry's Walter Briefcase is here to save the day.

Features signature Mulberry natural leather in Oak, Black and chocolate, this school bag style briefcase has a top handle, concealed pushlock opening under the buckles and my favourite feature, a padded interior compartment to safely tuck away your precious laptop from knocks and bumps:-)

A sturdy canvas shoulder strap completes the utilitarian aspect of the bag and you are 'well equipped' to hit the roads!

Retail price: UK 595 pounds. Where to buy: www.mulberry.com

walter is rather thick (& with hard leather) when carrying by arms around it, really is not that easy.
instead, had chosen parker, which is slim enuf, as like carrying a notebook protective pouch. a nihonji look to model after, rather cool too.
best, it was offered at a great price back then in sg.
