Fashion Inspiration - Burberry Prorsum In Oceans Magazine

Burberry Prorsum In Oceans Magazine, Japan

Japanese magazines are some of my favourite sources of fashion inspiration. And they have a good track record to feature the most interesting fashion editorials, highlighting the key pieces of a brand's collection while capturing the essence of the inspiration.

Burberry Prorsum is the hero for this edition of Fashion Inspiration:-) after Balmain Homme in Huge Magazine. Starring melancholic Libor Dusek as the face of the fashion shoot. Very sombre and moody in the treatment, kinda set in a pierside 'English' town. The fashion spread evokes the mood for the Burberry Prorsum Fall Winter 2009 which looks back at the classics from the brand's English roots.

Key pieces of the collection are featured here, such as the much talked about Burberry checks cashmere snood, that TDF grey tweed jacket, the youthful baker boy wool hat and even the highly coveted Portrait Print T-shirt ! 'Feast' for the eyes...

I am now inspired. I love Japanese fashion magazines and Burberry Prorsum = dashing winter! :-P

I've tried on the cashmere check snood when I was in NYC couple days ago, but somehow it runs smaller than it looks and I'm sure there's just one size. I also asked about the mink fur snood and was told there's waiting list for that...

Perhaps you can try the knitted version. Maybe that can be stretched a bit:-P

I'm thinking of getting the snood but I don't like its size being fixed.

It'd fixed? What about the knitted ones? They do stretch eh?

yeah, it's just a tube of cloth. you cannot tighten them or loosen them up. the grey check ones are sold here in CPH.

I haven't seen the knitted but I guess they function the same way.
