Lanvin Knee High Leather And Wool Boots

It has finally appear! I was losing hope that this runway piece from Lanvin's Fall Winter 2009 Men's Collection will not go into production. Yes, I am talking about this gorgeous pair of Lanvin Knee High Leather And Wool Boots! Look at those riveted lacing...military influences on the design while exquisitely crafted with leather and wool. Very rare choice of materials. Boots at this height rarely makes it into production as men seem to not take a liking for footwear this high. The women have been having fun with tall boots, so I am happy that Lanvin made these:-)

The boot has a very streamline and powerful look. Especially empowering when paired with pants rolled up or tucked in. I already feel like a 'superhero' (yes, most superheros wear knee high boots!) imagining wearing them:-)

There is another lower (mid calf) version that I blogged about a while ago. But this knee high style rules!
(on a side note, will be a 'nightmare' to put on and take off...)
