The Runway Sniper #44

Below: My favourite looks from the new Burberry Prorsum Fall Winter 2010 Mens Collection... I love the brass button details on the sleeve of this navy overcoat...

Below: As does this navy knit, with those shoulder details...kinda reminds me of Balmain's power shoulder for Fall Winter 2009...

Below: Smart colour combination of navy and gold... sail away Navy boys!

Below: Olive and khaki is also a key colour for the military themed Burberry Prorsum Fall Winter 2010 collection... the taper silhouettes on all the looks with bigger proportion on the top and narrow slim bottoms...

Below: The coat looks so cosy, I wanna hug anyone who wears it!

Below: The long grey cardigan feels so soft and comfortable...

Below: Love those boots and bags!

Below: Oversized leather totes and messengers with shearling trim details... how could you say no to such 'bag candies'!

Below: Washed canvas and leather duffel bags are back from Spring Summer 2010 collections...

Below: These fur trim boots are definitely getting me walking!

Below: Tall boots makes for a strong look! LOVE!

Below: My most favourite detail in the collection...these layered brass buttons!

Below: I absolutely love the material of this coat...

Below: Little innovations on simple items such as this military belt...notice how it fastens from both left and right... interesting!

Burberry Prorsum Fall Winter 2010 Menwear

"PROTECT, EXPLORE, INSPIRE
A salute to our heritage - Burberry parade coats"
Christopher Bailey, Burberry Chief Creative Officer

Handsome young officers from the Military invade Burberry Prorsum's Fall Winter 2010 Menswear runway yesterday. A strong silhouette accentuated by the many variations of outerwear from peacoats, long coats, shearling coats and military jackets, which are all balanced with slim pants and boots for a highly smart and streamlined look. The contrast in proportions with a bulkier top against a narrow bottom simply look powerful and masculine!

Military influences are aplenty on most of the pieces thru the use of hues of navy blues and army greens, epualets, brass gold buttons and tall leather boots. March on with pride next fall winter season! Out of the whole collection, the most memorable look for me was this navy long sleeve knit that featured exaggerated shoulders thru the clever layering of gold buttons. A piece that gives a commanding presence and highly original. It's one of the most interesting piece I have seen from the brand!

On the accessories front, sumptuous leather bags in messengers, totes or duffel style, some accented with shearling trims, while others crafted from washed canvas, are all poised to join want list for all alpha male types. Footwear has yet again become a centre of attention with the shearling lined leather boots which are a must have!

Applause yet again for Christopher Bailey, another successful menswear collection that will keep old and new fans lusting for more Burberry!

OMGOMGOMGOMG THE RUNWAY SHOW WAS AWESOME!!! I've never actually been to a runway show, on youtube it looks so boring cuz it's not LIVE. This one really gave me goosebumps. =D May I know roughly how much will the black leather tote cost? I need a black leather bag =)

Can't wait any longer to get the button-epoulet sweater! The season reminds of his 2007 debut with military gold and shine:)
