Ad Campaigns & Catalogue #26
Gucci Spring Summer 2009 Ad Campaign
Spring summer season is near! The new ads for the new season has already started to invade magazines and images are surfacing everywhere online. Brieuc75 posted this new series of Gucci Ads for the coming season.
I am on the fence for the ads. Good things, the amazing rich colours of purple and greens, the very tropical rainforest feel which is amazing for spring summer season. Makes me wanna go jungle trekking, Gucci style. Not so good things, it's the same faces again. Yikes, can they let go of poor Lily and Natasha before they get seriously over exposed. Next, somehow the clothes are not so spectacular to create visual impact. It's too mild. But I do love the ad for the strap heels. That looks fabulous.
We need fresh faces. Natasha and Lily has been the spokes-model for Gucci for so long, time for new faces to take over and get fresh new direction and looks! Maybe Gucci signed a package to use these models...hence they are used again and again. Cheaper fees, group discount?:-P

Lush and green, just the way I like it...
Oh yes, I like the colours. very rainforest:-) Trekking chic? Hehe. Maybe Singapore SAF can adopt some of these styles for the NS men. You fight but you still have to look good eh?:-P
i agree with you. and there's something about the consistent faces that's really not going with this.
but they look good, i guess. natasha looks better in the first photo, lily in the last. the other girl really seems like "the other girl." sad.
that guy right of lily makes me want those drop-crotch pants, tho.
desert and tropics?
Oh yes, the girls are gorgeous..but they should do ads for other brands who have not used them before. But that would mean a huge paycheck gone. We need to earn a living...I guess...if I were them, I will not turn down Gucci's offer either. Hehe.
But would be nice to see new faces.
Desert? Why desert? So much green? Unless you mean oasis?:-)
