Ad Campaigns And Catalogues #87

Below: Kris Van Assche's Fall Winter 2010 Mens Shoes are looking very promising, especially those directional heavy duty boots with leather buckled panels... A strong footwear design statement for next fall...

Below: The slouchy versions are just as appealing...

Below: Interesting trainers for next season... same application of leather panelling for a contemporary design...

Below: This version resembles a certain pair of Dior Homme Spring Summer 2010 trainers...

Below: Neutral and sleek designs for other accessories such as belts and scarves...

Kris Van Assche Spring Summer 2010 Mens Shoes And Accessories

Kris Van Assche did his Fall Winter 2010 Menswear Collection based in neutral tones of blacks and greys. In an almost monotonous, yet single minded design proposal, the flannel/wool outerwear, checked shirts and billowy pants are all matched with directional accessories, most notably in the form of some of the best footwear for next season. Heavy duty boots came in both structured or slouchy leather but cleverly decorated with multiple/wrap-around buckle straps or leather panelling for a masculine and contemporary design statement. I also adore the trainers which shares the same treatment, although there is one design with shoe lace detailing, closely resembling one Dior Homme Spring Summer 2010 trainers. Belts and scarves are a refreshing change from overly embellished counterparts and will remain a strong basic to accentuate any wardrobe.

Very commendable designs for Kris Van Assche on his own label. I prefer it more than what he has done for Dior Homme. I sense a pair of Kris Van Assche boots beckoning to me this next fall:)
