Lanvin Fall Winter 2010 Mens Bags, Shoes And Accessories

Lanvin
gone rogue? It seems the refined classic dandy has stepped into the real world and found out life is not always a bed of roses afterall. Sometimes there are 'thorns and pitfalls' to avoid and hop over. I guess the Fall Winter 2010 Mens Runway show being shown last year at a time when the world economic situation was bleak, the message sent down fashion week highly suggests staying tough in the face of adversity.

Lanvin's new Fall Winter 2010 sees urban warriors, somewhat dishevelled in styling, raw but never uncouth, ready to trawl thru the new season goals of survival and staying protected.

We see shoes that blend classic designs of brogues with boots. Long zips add a utilitarian personality as does the chunkier wooden soles. There are also trainers with frayed fabric patches that is most unique and interesting. Fabrics, aged leather achieves that used and raw aesthetic that Lanvin mens' has long adopted as its brand DNA. This Fall Winter 2010 collection was also one that utilises the most amounts of python skin in Lanvin history (recurring even into the Spring Summer 2011 footwear designs) as if they were the trophy piece of an adept urban hunter.

Bags came in the form of duffels, totes and backpacks with the crochet effect version being the most outstanding. There are also cute pins, cufflinks and bow ties that uses raw woven fabrics and threads which definitely accent any outfit with a touch of fun amidst the austere collection.

All in all, I am loving the new Lanvin men. Tough and more masculine than ever but never forgetting his original dandy roots.
