Jil Sander Blue Multi-Pocket Large Canvas Tote

Yesterday after collecting my alteration of a D&G shirt (which I missed out on getting a small size and had to settle for medium, the free alteration service offered in store comes in handy! I love the sailing inspired shirt to not want to pass up on it:-), I did my usual weekend rounds of the shops. Since I covered ground in Takashimaya area on Friday evening, it is time to explore Club 21 territory. For those with Club 21 Card membership, please note that you get double Club 21 points for shopping over weekends! 4x credit card points for DBS Black American Express Cardmembers as well. So be smart, and shop only on Saturdays and Sundays for Club 21 card and use DBS Amex Black to pay!:-)

I knew I had to make my way to the ultimate retail temple of Singapore, Club 21 Mens. The pilgrimage is long overdue. The fashion gods there has yet again been prep to reward its faithful devotees (namely me) for their shopping commitment, hence I want to check out what I can 'benefit' from the store:-) Last year, I got my Lanvin Grasshopper Head Jacket Pin for a 'steal', and this time...I am still on the fence what to get.:-) But thank you, the 'fashion gods' of Club 21...you are indeed a 'saviour' in these tough economic times! Hahahaha.

While in store (which seriously need an upgrade of store interior!), I saw some really nice Lanvin shoes, the RTW was again very pricey but in a way, very special in cuts and design. I think I need a bit more time to buy into the fresh ideas. The shirring effect on the pants was amazing. I wonder how they fit. There is also a pair of soft slouchy goatskin white lace-ups which retails for over SGD $1000 (I think it is SGD $1099)...it made my heart stopped a moment, price and beauty-wise.

I also spotted lots of Dior Homme pieces in an array of blinding fluorescent colours. Some look tacky, some look fantastic. The Neil Barrett collection features off white leather slip on shoes with a black patent toe cap at a SGD $869 price tag. The Jil Sander collection is also filled with lots of bright hued accessories of messenger bags, shoes, totes and belts. One of the more eye catching piece from what I spotted is this Jil Sander Blue Multi-Pocket Large Canvas Tote. In the very prominently featured colour of 'electric' blue (You see this colour all over the SS09 runway looks!), this large size man tote is indeed a piece of eye candy. Not sure if it is my look, since I am now going for classic bag pieces which has longevity. But for fans of utilitarian chic and minimalist design, this tote is for you! The multi pockets is a good feature to keep you organised too.

Get yours for SGD $1799. Limited pieces, so grab it soon.:-)
