Then And Now...Male Supermodels
(Guys...Better Slap On More Of That Anti-Aging Cream...)

Hedi Slimane did a photoshoot on male supermodels of yester-years for Vogue Homme recently. Look what time has done to these once gorgeous hunks we adored... Seems the female supermodels like Claudia, Linda, Naomi have fared better. Thanks to Sean's post for hitting my alarm to be more vigilant about my 'maintanence' routine.

Reminder to myself: With immediate effect, I need to start regular use of my newly acquired Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

They started off looking so hot, they had so much more to lose! Me, the drop isn't so high but still the $$$s get spent on SK2!

Oh an SKII fan! BTW, do you think I can still use my bottle of SKII after about 3 years...oops...

Those pictures are not flattering. But there are many guys who look better and better with age, dont you think?

I believe it is important to also care for your skin from the inside. I mean nutrition! I am kind of an amateur expert on that, so ask me if you want any tips..

It seems Hedi Slimane is capturing fragility in them. Look at their outfits...all tattered and torn.

Oh great, I will ask you for your advice for sure!

Will email you:-)

3 years?? are you kidding me, I buy that stuff and its gone within weeks. I wouldnt be inclined to put anything on my face which is that old...!

hahaha...yes, I think I should just throw it away. I forgot all about the SKII and for months after months...it is now 3 years old. Hehe

I don't think these male models care as much about preservation as their female counterparts. Perhaps because they are heterosexual?

Amended, boys...Larry Scott was the original Acqua Di gio coverboy...Lars was for the updated version that came later.:-) Sorry for the mixed up.

Cheers!

I these guys look hot! Even in these pictures (black and white pics are always cheating!). Guys tend to wear age well, and no one stays young forever regardless of their skin.

As a hetrosexual woman I think the lines are great! They give more personality to the face and tend to indicate that a man has grown up (which is always a blessing)!

Either way or not these guys have obviously still been working out, appear to have their own hair and teeth and great smiles - if only such a man would fall into my lap -what's not to love?

Fair enough it's important to take care of one's skin, but to use these guys as a barometre of that truth seems a bit outlandish.

Good to know that these studs are still alive and modelling though, thanks Zahra
