Great Minds Think Alike #12

Zara Men vs Burberry Prorsum and D&G...

Right on the heels of Zara womenswear offering Balmain inspired looks, here's something for the boys as well:-)

Seems like Burberry Prorsum's Fall Winter looks from knitted cumberbund to drop crotch pants are inspirations for Zara:-) Look how similar the pieces are.

What about D&G's Oscar Wilde 'aristocrat' jacket? D&G fans, fret not, Zara has one for you too:-P

Dun we all love Zara? However, I highly doubt the luxury brands share this love:-P

Hi Ck,

am not sure about the jacket...but enquire at D&G store at Forum shopping mall in one or 2 weeks time.

May have runway stocks by then.

And Markthatdesign, glad you like the comparision post. Well, this is for everyone to know what's out there. Designer labels are great...but some Zara pieces looked pretty cool as well.

i really don't understand why the designers not taking legal action to stop this.... it is clearly a case of copying by an international chain brand.

Not really, unless you use the exact same pattern, otherwise it's just "inspired" by other brands. I love zara btw.
