Bottega Veneta: The Limited Edition Knot India
To celebrate the arrival of the exhibition 'The Knot: A retrospective', Bottega Veneta presents a limited edition Knot India Clutch, a completely new design inspired by the brand's signature intrecciato weave and created using both traditional and modern artisanal techniques. Glamourous in a soft metallic gold hue, platino ossidato, with a shimmering surface of precisely cut and stitched sequins crafted from cervo leather, the result is a beguiling inspiration the resembles the light on the surface of a river.
“We’re grateful for the warm welcome Bottega Veneta has received in India,” says Creative Director Tomas Maier, “and we’re excited about the future. We wanted to bring the Knot exhibition to Mumbai because it illustrates the extraordinary abilities of our artisans. The Knot India commemorates the opening of the exhibition and celebrates India and our Indian customers.”
The Knot India will be introduced on December 9, 2009, at the Bottega Veneta store at The Galleria at Nariman Point in Mumbai. Each of the bag will be numbered with the word “India” inscribed on a sterling plate inside the clutch. The Knot India will be available exclusively at the Mumbai store and pre-orders should also be directed to the store at 91 22 3027 7090.
