The Runway Sniper #59

Below: It's resorts collection time already!...When did time fly by so fast... Chanel present some menswear looks alongside the womenwear... so what do you think? Abstract floral looking patterns for you?

Below: Or shrunken knits fit for your younger nephew too?

Below: Pyjamas for men has just gotten more fancy... Ruffled collars?!?! Your 'granny' will be proud!

Below: Okay... I have to admit, I do have a thing to this sequined blazer...

Below: If wearing all these fancy styles gets you the girl, I'd say, boys, go for it!

Below: Mr Karl looking radiant at the Chanel Resorts 2011 show in St Tropez...

Below: Joshua Jackson and Diana Kruger attended the event... love Joshua's outfit with his ankle length pants and brown loafers, very smart and not too formal...

Chanel Resort 2011 Menswear

If Karl Largerfeld were to have his way, his muse and men will all wear colourful abstract prints (Paisley flowery looking...), silk pyjamas with ruffled collars, skinny jeans, shrunken knit sweaters and a glamourous sequined blazer. How's that for a true Chanel man? Love it or hate it... your thoughts?

(But I am amazed at the extravagance Chanel is investing on a resorts wear show... in St Tropez, my dream Riveria destination...someone whisk me there! Lastly...How did Cruise 2011 come so fast!?!?!)

Kaiser Karl should hire someone to do menswear like Alber Elbaz at Lanvin does. Some designers are not multisexual in their design aesthetics. Menswear is not easy to design and sell as womenswear. Tom Ford in that regard is a genius because he can design for both very well.

There's few items really good in this collection..particlary the jeans..the shade of these blue jeans is very special and beautiful!

I like Chanel menswear because of the exclusivity and the Jacket...Karl should make a complete collection of Jacket like in the Fall 2009..or the famous red stripes Jacket of the spring 2008
