Men On The Street: New York Fashion Week Fall Winter 2012The big apple just ended their intensive Fall Winter 2012 Fashion Week. Fashion week is the season to be seen and an excuse to play dress up.
So what have the boys in NYC been wearing during this 'season of street style wars'? What trends are raging in the menswear scene now? Which fashion pieces have your favourite style personalities such as Brad Goreski and Nick Wooster chosen to wear? What bags designs are standing out for the season?
Few points to note from my observation:
1) Classic styles are favoured. Suiting, chinos, brogues, tasseled loafers, navy blazers... the typical male wardrobe staples are what everyone are wearing.
2) Camouflage prints are invading into the boy's wardrobe. Colours are still around.
3) Parka looks are spotted all the time. Round frame glasses, tartan and ethnic patterns are equally prominent.
