Goyard Sainte Lucie

Below: Goyard Sainte Lucie... my new bag obsession. Definitely a yes with the interesting format and lightweight construction...
Below: This one in red looks amazing! The Goyard Sainte Lucie even folds away into a small size that makes it highly travel friendly...

Wishlisted! Goyard Sainte Lucie

Goyard is coming to Singapore very soon. In anticipation to the brand’s debut in my sunny island city... I have been obsessing over which Goyard bag to get to celebrate the occassion. Saint Louis tote is a possibility, but the design has flooded the streets and the novelty of owning the bag is not as strong as before. However, all is not lost, I just found a design that is less common and still packs a lot of function and beauty as a daily-use arm candy.

Check out the Sainte Lucie. A top handle, front flap closure tote bag that is a hybrid of a briefcase and a tote. Taller and more casual, this is one handsome bag suited for the boys on the go. Lightweight and featuring a convenient back zip pocket, this one can hold tons and yet lets you access all those frequently used items easily. Best part of it all, it even folds away into a handy size (sort of like Longchamp’s Le Pliage bags) which makes it extremely travel friendly. Last I checked, the bag retails in the range of Euro1350, not bad for a hand painted and crafted luxury piece. I want the one in red! Or at least some personalisation:-P Goyard is love!

A guy can never get too much of camouflage prints:-P

Bottega Veneta Intrecciato VN Document Case

Below: Document cases or man clutches are now widely accepted and adopted by guys everywhere. Handy and perfect for occasions when you do not want to be burdened by huge bags. Looking for one? Bottega Veneta's Intrecciato VN Document Case is one timeless and luxurious design. Now in 2 sizes and many colours... I want one!
Below: Bottega Veneta Intrecciato VN Document Case works best with sartorial styles... classic and understated but instantly recognisable by the signature woven leather:-) A good investment piece...

Handy Smart Bags: Bottega Veneta Intrecciato VN Document Case

Lately, boys have been spoilt with choices when it comes to portfolio or document cases... Yes, man clutches are now accepted and widely adopted by guys. Spotted in abundance especially during fashion weeks, the portfolio case is an indispensable male accessory sans the burden of a huge bag.

One of the most endearing and timeless portfolio bags I covet is Bottega Veneta’s Intrecciato VN Document Case. I have blogged about it here before, but with new colours and sizes being offered now, this handy arm candy is definitely worthy of a new mention. The signature intrecciato woven leather is one of the most recognisable pattern in luxury leather goods. So even without obnoxious and loud branding, the woven leather speaks the brand without being marked by it. It fulfills Bottega Veneta’s brand philosophy of ‘when your initials are enough’... true embodiment of confident individuals who need not flaunt brand names to have great taste.

The Intrecciato VN Document Case comes in 2 sizes now. The larger size measures 38.5cm in width while the smaller size at 34.5cm. Handy and proportionately right for any build. Retailing at £750 and £690 respectively, these portfolios are well priced considering the remarkable craftsmanship Bottega Veneta is known for.

Choose from classic Nero (Black) or Ebano (Chocolate) colours if you want timeless appeal. But for those looking for a more modern update, the Light Tourmarline (Blue), Brique (Red) and Shadow (Grey) compliments any modern gentlemen’s wardrobe.

I want one! Shadow (grey)  or Brique (Red) are my picks. What about you?

Gucci Pre-fall 2013 '1953 Horsebit Loafers' in Tartan and Printed Jaguar

Below: Gucci wins my heart yet again with these gorgeous 1953 Horsebit Loafers in both handsome tartan and striking printed jaguar pattern. Perfect for the modern dandy with an edge. I want this tartan and blue leather version to match Fall Winter 2013's 'British classics' trend:-P
Below: Fall Winter 2013 is the season where animal prints prevail... so this pair of Gucci 1953 Horsebit Loafer in printed Jaguar came right on cue for the season:-) Luxuriously sexy...
Classics Reinvented: Gucci Pre-Fall 2013 '1953 Horsebit Loafers' in Tartan and Printed Jaguar

Last Spring Summer 2013 season, it was their Flora Infinity canvas and studded designs that caught my eye... but this Fall season, Gucci wins my heart again with their Tartan (USD495) and Printed Jaguar (USD930) versions of the classic 1953 Horsebit Loafer.

For fans of modern dandy style, what could be more appropriate than tartan with a touch of handsome blue leather trim. The new Gucci 1953 Horsebit Loafer from Pre-fall 2013 fits right at home with the now trending modern British gentlemen looks adopted everywhere.

The charm of the wild also beckons for the Fall Winter 2013 which Gucci hits the mark again blending classics with striking animalier jaguar print. A guy could let their flamboyant wild side unveiled at times, and footwear is subtle but speaks volumes of his impeccable taste.

I love the reinterpretation of these Gucci 1953 Horsebit Loafers. Each new season bring new exciting designs and materials, which goes to show classics just keep relevant thru the years.

Louis Vuitton Tadao in Damier Infini

Below: Louis Vuitton's highly popular and functional Tadao Tote now comes in Damier Infini leather... Choose from 2 sizes and 4 brilliant colours... An amazing design just got better without monogram pattern of damier checks!
Below: I love the fusion colour in PM size, more manageable and ready to take you between work and play...

Louis Vuitton Tadao In Damier Infini

When Louis Vuitton’s highly functional Tadao tote (a design paying homage to Japanese architect, Tadao Ando) first debut in Damier Graphite monogram, it caused quite a lot of interest among bag fans. Fast forward to present day, where monograms are losing its lustre with savvy fashion fans, Louis Vuitton is smart to translate this popular design with their luxurious Damier Infini leather. The Damier Infini leather is a more subtle spin of the house's iconic damier checks and comes in brilliant colours that is modern and fresh.

For Fall Winter 2013, the Damier Infini Tadao tote will be available in 4 colours and 2 sizes. The PM size at a handy 34 x 33 x 9cm answers the call of fans who prefers a more manageable size while the regular version stays at 41 x 12 x 37cm which is roomy to hold aplenty. Shoulder straps for both versions make these totes a great city companion to take from work to play. Choose from colours of fusion (orange red), meteor (brown) and onyx (black) for the PM size or the striking solar (yellow), meteor and onyx for the regular Tadao tote sizes.

Tumi By Miharayasuhiro Luggage Collection

Below: American premium luggage brand, Tumi just got street grunge cool from Japanese designer, Mihara Yasuhiro with a new limited edition capsule luggage collection for SS2014. These new range of travel bags bears the Japanese designer's signature python and camouflage print to add fashion relevance for the otherwise boring brand...
Below: Choose from backpacks, trolleys and carry-on duffles in either camouflage or python print. I vote for the python versions!

Tumi By Miharayasuhiro Luggage Collection

Miharayasuhiro is one of my favourite designers, having blogged about his ‘grunge’ looking birkins and brilliant menswear collections that are innovative and fresh.

For the upcoming Spring Summer 2014, the bold and highly creative Japanese designer puts his mark on American premium luggage brand Tumi for a range of desirable travel bags bearing his signature python and camouflage prints. The sleek greens, navy and grey hues lend sophistication to the otherwise utilitarian carriers. Tumi travel bags just got an express boost to fashion coolness! I want the duffle and trolley... one in python and one in camouflage please:-P

Below:As seen on Miharayasuhiro's SS2014 Mens runway show...

The limited Edition collection will be available at Club21 Mens from mid December 2013.
