The Material Boy #11

Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Totes

Yesterday evening while out for sushi dinner with my friend, I bumped into my colleague at work. And I notice he was carrying a brilliant looking Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Nappa Umbria Tote in Moro(Brown) with black leather handles. makes me drool. I have seen this bag before in the stores and tried it for myself. Did not seemed to be impressed as I always find it is too small and the woven thing is not my style. (Maybe I know I am unwillingly to pay this high a price for a bag...I am using it as an excuse to convince myself to not like it and buy it.) Until today, I see it being used by a regular person I know, and I loved it! I was thinking...I do not seem to own a classic iconic bag that is expensive enough to be exclusive, and most important of all...never go on sale. And Bottega Veneta's Intrecciato range is the ultimate in this catergory of luxury bags. Classic and never go out of style, yet reassuringly expensive that you are proud to carry it around and show off. hahaha.

I went to the Bottega Veneta website after I got home and search for the bag. Found 2 versions of sizes for this bag. A wider version and a tall version which my colleague owns. Both are brilliant. It's time to start saving those pennies for a trip to Europe to pick up those beauties, amongst others.:-P

Retail price:
1) Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Nappa Umbria Tote (Tall version) SGD $4860

2) Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Nappa Umbria Shopper (Wide version) SGD $5140
Where to buy: Bottega Veneta Boutique at Paragon

Hi Kevin

i got this Tall version tote in Noce and it's a great bag. Love the soft feeling of the leather ...

The bag is rather spacious and can put in quite a lot of stuff though i try not to overload it ...
