My MANy Bags Lookbook #17

Officer Off Duty

I am 'military crazy' this Spring Summer 2010 season. Partly caused by the 'Balmainia' that has survived last season and progressed into the new year with even more rage. So now I envision a military 'officer' looking for a good day out during his off-duty time. Smart as always, he spots a lightweight Burberry Silk Blazer in a cool greyish blue over a Balmain Camouflage Print T-shirt for some army cool. Slim fitted Balmain Cargo Biker Pants are also matched with Martin Margiela Ruched Leather Open Toe Ankle Boot that look smart while being casual. To have some rock star appeal, a HTC Gold Studded Belt and Dita Midnight Special Yellow Gold Sunglasses add some much needed bling! Finally, the finishing touches comes in a Céline Bi-coloured Leather Tote while he wears an army insignia batch proudly on his chest.

From Fort Benning to Fort Lauderdale, it's time to party!

I think that Margiela boots are not wearable if you compose this as a male look...an just for one reason...not that are female, but because the size reaches (in store and webstore) only till number 40.

did you read that all my lookbooks is what I would wear? It is a concept suggestion anyway, not to sell any of the products I feature. And I fit those shoes!:-P And I even tweak a bit of the colour of pants, to a more military green.

nice...so you have n. 40?
You bought them? or will?

Haha, Tedore, nah, did not buy the shoes. But I would love to! I like open tote designs for shoes. It's different for men:-) I love my Prada and Pierre Hardy versions.

The lookbook is a suggestion of ideas that I thought will work for me. And just to have a bit of fun for me to mix and match:-)

Hope you enjoy the lookbook. And the military insignia was from a women's blazer, which I dun think you can detached. But I am sure these can be found at army surplus stores:-)

Happy evening!

Kevin

Hi Anony, for someone who's tacky enough to use the word 'ah beng', I guess your taste in fashion leaves to be questioned. Anyways, my taste is not for people like u:-P

This is a great look. So many fashion items are really unisex in nature. Just look at the Rick Owens and Neil Barrett clothes for men; most would look good on a woman too. I wish they made the ankle boots in men sizes!! I also love those Chloe canvas and leather boots from the "tribal man" look book; again, same issue with those too. Love your blog.
