An adorable feature from LA Times highlighting the 50 Signature Handbags, Cachet and Carry:-) Are you agreeable to the selection? Is your favourite bag in the list? Which bag would u have want to see on the list?
Hurray for Proenza Schouler's PS1 bag (considering it is such a new design), but I am so sad Fendi's Peekaboo Bag did not make it to the list. And no Balenciaga or Mulberry? Of course Hèrmes' birkin takes the 1st spot as a true icon.
I am not entirely agreeable, but the illustrations are definitely cute:-)

Balenciaga is on the bottom of the first page. I don't know who made this list but LV raindrop besace (a.k.a. trash bag) as a signature bag - gimme a break !!!

Yeah, some of the bags are not worthy...
No to Besace, Zac Posen, Kate Spade...Alexander Wang is more popular for the other bag, too many Hermes bag....

There is a Mulberry, 2nd page, 2nd row, 2nd from left, however its not one of the classics, sadly.
And there is no Bottega Veneta. I'd think at least the knot clutch would have made it.
ITA with Sean...the LV Raindrop Besace is just BLEH...there's a few others that I personally think shouldn't make the list! Like you said...no Mulberry and Peek-a-boo? The Peek-a-boo certainly tops my list. At least one of the Valentino and Miu Miu bags should make it too.

I think Pee-a-boo is too 'young' to be in that list. Havent proven itself yet unlike some other bags.

I would definitely not pick bags from Zac Posen or Jean Paul Gaultier or many others.
True icons such as YSL downtown, Bayswater should be in the list.
Peekaboo may be new, but Alexander Wang's coco duffel is even more current... I wonder why that bag is on the list.
Peekaboo isn't exactly an it bag..it's new, yes. Boring? Yes too.
The one fendi bag that deserves to be on that list is the B Bag, and it is! Awesomee.
