The Material Boy #56

Pauric Sweeney Overnight Bag in Python and Black Patent Leather

Another item that catches my eye from browsing Browns Fashion's website today. A beautiful roomy trapeze shaped overnight bag that features a flap opening and a front pocket for easy access to regularly used items. Handles are buckled to the bag with just the right amount of hardware. Comes with a shoulder strap that will ensure your tired hands can be given a rest after carrying the bag for prolong periods.

I love the python skin version, which features a beautiful contrast of grained calf and snake skin, in brown and mustard tones. Perfect combination that will work with lots of outfits. For guys who want a more timeless colour, the patent black version will give you a run for your money, ensuring you stay stylish and chic for many years to come. The patent leather is matched with textured leather which creates an interesting combination.

Retail price:
1) Python Skin Overnight Bag - UK 1480 pounds

2) Patent Black Leather Overnight Bag - UK 1020 pounds

I am a Pauric Sweeney fan, and this is yet another interesting bag. Maybe I wouldn't carry it myself, there is something slightly too pretentious for it to work for me, but it has something.. I love how Pauric bags look very glamorous without being too in-your-face with logos and stuff everywhere.

This reminds me of a school bag that you carry in college:-) A glamourised version:-P Yeah, Pauric Sweeney is understated with regards to branding. Some of his bags are very stunning. Do you find them easily where you are?:-P

No, it's difficult to buy them here. Only one shop in Sweden sells them, and it's a very feminine shop so they seem to stock only the less masculine models. But I found the python gym bag there, and even though it may be intended as a girl bag, I would use it. Would perhaps remove the tassle though. But at 1800 Euro I found it a bit expensive.
Can you buy them in Singapore?

By the way, I was in Singapore a couple of years ago. It was a very nice place. I liked that it was not so crowded, and not so much traffic. Didn't do much shopping, but next time I will!
