Sale Shopping Spotlight: BlackBarrett Spring Summer 2014 Menswear

I may be falling in love with BlackBarrett's SS2014 Menswear at the end of the season... but I am just in time to take advantage of their end of season markdowns and get myself favourite pieces at amazing prices! Love the paisley print shirt in china blue... now I am considering the matching pair of shorts or blazer too:-)

Sale Shopping Spotlight: BlackBarrett Spring Summer 2014 Menswear

I might have been a bit too late in discovering the graphic appeal of BlackBarrett’s Spring Summer 2014 Mens collection. But better late than never, especially when I am just in time for their end of season mark downs... there is silver lining in falling in love with a collection this late in the season.

I am loving the graphic modern approach of BlackBarrett... albeit at a much accessible price points than the main line, Neil Barrett. For spring summer 2014, there are colour blocking, line prints and an amazing china blue paisley print that gets me most excited. So much love at first sight, that I pop by the BlackBarrett store on Sunday to get my hands on the paisley print short sleeve shirt. The price was SGD190 but after the sale discount... an amazingly affordable SGD120! My best buy of the season for sure:-)

I am contemplating the matching shorts or bomber jacket... but at the same time, I love the graphic colour block blazer, the lines and dot shirt (featured in the Ad Campaign)... so many things I want! All at a great price point and cut to fit Asian builds.

Do you know International shoppers can still make their orders on Mr Porter USA site even if you are based outside of US? They do shipped internationally albeit at a higher cost. But good news for Singapore shoppers... you still enjoy the FREE international shipping as per the UK site! Woohoo... that means you can start shopping the sales before all others. I did mine and got a MISMO tote bag for 50% off at USD167.50!

The difference between shopping on the US and UK site is the origin of the shipment and the currency you pay with. Using Mr Porter US site, you will be charged in USD while UK site services the rest of the world and you pay in GBP. One minor disadvantage for Singapore shoppers if you shop at the USA site... the delivery time is slightly longer due to the longer distance your orders have to travel. But a day or 2 longer sure beats waiting many more weeks before international sales starts! So what are you waiting for?

My Sale Shopping Weekend: DFS Galleria Scottswalk End Of Season Sale Now On

The Great Singapore Sale officially starts this weekend. Have you been wondering where all the good shopping finds are? Look no further... You must head down to DFS Galleria, Scottswalk (Singapore) for a one stop designer/luxury goods shopping experience.

Not only does DFS Galleria Scottswalk (Located along Scotts Road, opposite Far East Plaza) stock an impressive range of designer/luxury brands, they are also having their SS2013 markdowns starting this weekend! 30% off on many brands. In case you are wondering, local Singaporeans can shop there... No customs or passport restrictions unlike what u experienced at airports. DFS Galleria Scottswalk is a true mega shopping mall, except it’s filled with store after store of luxury wares and the most impressive beauty hall in Singapore.

Enough said, I had a great time hunting down sale deals yesterday. Of course I did not go home empty handed. I just cannot resist, scored myself a gorgeous Bottega Veneta Coated Canvas tote with a contrasting intrecciomirage leather base. Love the interplay of textures. Very chic, especially when you embellised it with bag charms like my 'mercibeaucoup' quilted flower brooch:-P
