Classics Reinvented: Gucci Pre-Fall 2013 '1953 Horsebit Loafers' in Tartan and Printed Jaguar

Last Spring Summer 2013 season, it was their Flora Infinity canvas and studded designs that caught my eye... but this Fall season, Gucci wins my heart again with their Tartan (USD495) and Printed Jaguar (USD930) versions of the classic 1953 Horsebit Loafer.

For fans of modern dandy style, what could be more appropriate than tartan with a touch of handsome blue leather trim. The new Gucci 1953 Horsebit Loafer from Pre-fall 2013 fits right at home with the now trending modern British gentlemen looks adopted everywhere.

The charm of the wild also beckons for the Fall Winter 2013 which Gucci hits the mark again blending classics with striking animalier jaguar print. A guy could let their flamboyant wild side unveiled at times, and footwear is subtle but speaks volumes of his impeccable taste.

I love the reinterpretation of these Gucci 1953 Horsebit Loafers. Each new season bring new exciting designs and materials, which goes to show classics just keep relevant thru the years.

Summer Ready Shoes: Kenzo's Colourful Striped Print Canvas Diego Sneakers

The fashion calendar is always ahead of everyone. Before you can say adios to summer (SS2013 end of season sales is coming!), the Pre-fall or Fall Winter 2013 advertising images are already surfacing online. Today I am going to feature Gucci’s latest Pre-fall 2013 ad campaign which is an ode to the brand’s DNA, Tom Ford era and beyond. Seductively moody, highlighting some of the very prominent trends surfacing in the coming winter months.

Brilliant pairing of a burgundy jacket and matching tartan trousers on the mens ad. Whoever thinks winter time is all greys and blacks will be disappointed. This rich deep crimson hue is going to make it big for FW2013. On the women's end, look out for laces, leopard prints, olive hues and most importantly black (which is a mainstay for Fall Winter), all of which are also going to be widely featured across major brands besides Gucci. As for Gucci’s spotlighted women’s bag for pre-fall 2013, the Gucci Bamboo tote takes the honour of seducing those 'hard-earned' dollars from your purses.

I love the new ads. Simple, straight to the point, setting up the moods for Fall while showcasing Gucci’s pre-fall 2013 collection's details in full splendor.

I especially love those derby lace-ups and boots with stud details around the soles. I am sure many fans will make a beeline for them when they hit the stores later in the year!

Givenchy Pre-fall 2013 Mens Accessories (Part 1)

Givenchy’s Prefall 2013 mens accessories collections takes a break from religious inspirations and back into the streets and even the highlands. Look out for lots of plaid patterns this Pre-Fall 2013. A new K9 has also succeeded the much exposed Rottweiler. Doberman Pinscher, another dog species that instill that hard edge menacing feeling gives Gvenchy’s luxurious streetwear a new dimension. Mixed with plaids, woven leathers, target board /wood texture prints, it’s an eclectic combination that simply speaks visual excitement. The use of primarily red tones with black accentuates the bold graphics... modern and eye catching. A definite sell out collection yet again for Givenchy.

Below: The scarves are my favourites... intricate patterns that blends arglye checks, stars, Doberman Pinscher prints and plaids seamlessly to create outstanding designs...

I can’t wait to lay my hands on those pouches and scarves. What a knock out and distinctively Givenchy!

Givenchy Has A New 'Pet Dog' Come Pre-Fall 2013...

Move over Rottweiler... there's a new K9 (Seems like a Doberman Pinscher) in town at Givenchy when Pre-fall 2013 arrives. Check out Givenchy's latest menswear offering which features a new dog print that will again be on many fans' wishlist. Digitally enhanced with an almost neon red accent amongst an abstract water colour effect, the new dog illustration are applied on t-shirts, sweat shirts, scarves and most coveted of all, canvas pouches!

This time round, I am definitely not going to miss out on adopting any items featuring this new  print... It's going to be another 'dog fight' to see who will be the lucky owners.
