D&G Menswear Spring Summer 2009
Stock up on whites, lots of whites and get ready to set sail...cos' D&G is going to take his boys on a playboy cruise down the French Rivera come spring summer 2009!
Plenty of nautical inspired icons and graphics. Little buoys, flags, anchors, thick ropes all adorn the quirky shirts in silk and cotton. I love it that the pattern created on the shirts and pants are all formed by separate elements. And the colour of white is predominant in the runway looks. White bags, pants, shoes, sandals, almost everything comes in white.
My favourite look of the lot is the contrast shirt with white collars and cuffs against navy blue pattern formed by little anchors and worn with that cute white bermudas with diagonal striped piping. Interesting detailings! That look is complete with the luxurious white croc skin sandals which is divine!
