My MANy Bags Lookbook #14

Luxury Hunter

Inspired my newly acquired Zara leopard print belt, I had an idea to create a safari style look for a gentlemen into 'hunting' for all forms of luxuries in life:-P He is the Luxury Hunter. Well travelled, nonchalant, he travels through the safaris of Africa and feels as comfortable in the urban jungles of New York City. Never losing sight of his apreciation of finer things in life as he explored both the rugged and man-made terrains of the world.

Decadent casual looks...mix of luxurious and outdoor 'roughing it out' styles. He wears his Dries Van Noten Cotton White Shirt open collar and sleeves rolled up. He prefers his Dsquared2 Khaki shorts to tailored pants. And he adorns his waist with an eye catching Zara Leopard Print Fur Belt, his neck with Bulgari's 'Save The Children' Silver Pendant, while wearing his Lanvin Silver Captoe Lace-ups. On the luxurious end, he enjoys the company of his cosy Hermès Cotton Losange Stripe Scarf and flaunts his Crocodile Skin Collier De Chien bracelet. His sac of choice? None other than the unisex and interesting looking Hermès Jypsiere Leather Sling bag. He is definitely not afraid to show off his luxurious acquisitions or brave the harsh wrath of nature:-P

Bvlgari 'Save The Children' Sterling Silver Pendant With Leather Necklace

I have blogged about Bvlgari's 'Save The Children' charity campaign in conjunction with their 125th anniversary celebration. It seems their efforts to raise funds for the campaign do not stop with the STC ring (which I acquired just a few months back despite a long wait), they have recently launched a sterling silver pendant based on the same tribute design to its founder, Sotirio Bulgari.

The ring design pendant has beautiful inscriptions on the surface as per those on the STC ring. It comes tied to a nice leather necklace. Looks amazing:-) and you are also helping impoverished children have a better future thru opportunities for education.

Retails for US$290 of which US$60 will go towards the 'Save The Children' campaign.

Available for sale at all Bvlgari boutiques and www.bulgari.com

Carrying my Mulberry Large Meygan Bag:-)

Bvlgari 'Save The Children' Silver Ring

Finally after 3 weeks of waitlisting and placing a deposit, I got a call from the sales manager at Bvlgari Hilton Hotel that the Bvlgari 'Save The Children' Silver Ring in my size has arrived! I was exceptionally relieved, after hearing horror stories of waiting for more than a month for the stock to be here.

So today, I went to pick up my ring and paid up the remainder of the price. It's exquisite, beautifully crafted. Although I have wanted to wear the ring on the index finger, somehow the sizing came a bit loose (I tried it on the day I placed my order with another thinner width variant and it fits well) so I think I will wear it on the middle finger instead. Fits perfect there. I just do not want to wait again for 3 more weeks to get the right size ring.

So happy, been a while since I got a new ring, this one looks great and I am also happy it contributes to a good cause on the side.

(See my previous post here about this ring)

Retail price: SGD $555. Where to buy: Bvlgari Boutique at Hilton Hotel

Bvlgari 125 Years Anniversary - Save The Children 'Rewrite The Future' Campaign

Bvlgari has chosen to celebrate its 125 years anniversary by participating in a meaningful Save The Children 'Rewrite The Future' Campaign. This project aims at providing education and thus a better future to millions of children suffering from the consequences of war and conflict.

Bvlgari hopes to raise 10 million euros by end 2009 of which 1 million euros has already been donated.

In support of this campaign, Bvlgari has specially created a silver ring to help the cause. The ring is engraved on the outside with the founder's name, Sotirio Bulgari and on the inside 'Save The Children' logo as a reminder for the wearer of its purpose. Unusual of Bvlgari, who has long favoured gold, the ring is a tribute to Sotirio Bulgari's origins as a silversmith.

The ring is now available for sale in Bvlgari boutiques around the world. It retails for SGD $555 in Singapore and 20% of the ring sales proceeds will go to the project:-) That's quite a generous percentage!

What better way to show your support for a good cause than to own a piece of luxury jewellery and yet help children have a better future. The latter itself is already the best satisfaction one can ever have in life than owning any luxury goods.

Join in the stellar cast of celebrities who have all become the spokesperson of this project, including Ben Stiller and sexy Jason Lewis (Sex and the city).

Hurry get your ring soon and show you care!
